OK!!! I've done it - I've mangaed 365 days of photographs - and a few more (yes, I am a sucker for punishment!). I am at an airport on my way back home so I think it is a fitting time to sign off this blog.

Thank you so much for playing along with me. I have thoroughly enjoyed this experience and treasure the friendships that have come from it, including those of Sharon and Doniene whom I have been lucky to spend time with recently. I have enjoyed all your comments, questions and feedback.

Recovery day!!!!!

10.41 pm and this is what my bed looks like - where will I sleep tonight??!!
A quiet day spent catching our breath after living on adrenaline and fibre (hehe) alone for the last 5 days. I was still in my nightie at 2pm this afternoon, however that was 8am NZ time so I hope I am forgiven!!!

Walking about in Paducah

Whilst out shopping in the beautiful town of Paducah, we walked the length of the mural wall which edges the river. It protects the town from serious flooding (hopefully only 1 in 100 year ones). Each section of the wall was painted with a relevant picture...very beautiful and interesting.
