Not far from the hospital is the Historic Village which I enjoyed a nice wander around. Some quite cool little shops with an arty vibe.

Saying my daily hello to 'Steps', the cat who lives at the bottom of the lift/stepswhich take you from the lower level carpack of the hospital up to the main hospital.
A very well fed, content pussy cat who brightens many a day!

Day 168 of 2025

The hospital has a lovely spot on top of one the buildings.
A nice place to have a coffee and a bit of fresh air.
Supposedly winter time but the Bay of Plenty has similar winter temperatures to Northland so there's still plenty of greenery around.
