Catch up to tidy up the year -
Life on the farm continues - with no rain during December, the pastures are rapidly drying out and the cows will need some extra feed. Time to bring bales home from our runoff (where we harvested) and buy in some from the neighbour.
Day 357 of 2025 —

Lured into the shed, and then to the loading ramp and onto the trailer; the last (milk) feed for these four. Then out to the runoff to graze in peace for the next few years!
Day 358 of 2025 —

Trying to get myself organised for Christmas Day!
A delicious Christmas lunch at ED's.
Day 360 of 2025 —
In 40 years of marriage, I have never seen my husband iron a shirt!!!
Needs Must!

Day 363 of 2025 —
Prior to Christmas, ED shared photos of how Christmassy her Hoya were looking, with lots of plants and flowers blooming red and white all over her work (consult) rooms...... We arrived home to see one (only) flower...sort of looking Christmassy but a bit too pink really.

A cute way to end the year!
McGeorgeous is now well settled into our family. Still shy with strangers (disappears under the house) but comfortable in the house and with the rest of us.

This blog fell apart a bit after Mum died, but thank you so much for following it during 2025 while I documented (mostly) our lives - mostly farm and family.
I want to concentrate on my main blog this year as I have many undocumented sews and things to share.
Who knows, I could be back here one day :-)
[*Joanne* and *Sharon* are continuing on with their photo-a-day blogs.]
'til next time
Happy 2026

My hubby hasn’t ironed in over 50 years when he was in the army. Good on your hubby.
