Day 42 of 365

Take a closer look....
...at the Totara
You don't really notice, but at this time of the year......
...It has these tiny little berries.
Actually, I just found out these are called 'fleshy cones' and the
strange looking green knobs contain seeds!

    what a lovely colour they are..... I am also wondering if they are edible or if maybe the birds like them?
