I opened the gate so the oldest calves could get out into the 'calf paddock' - it's still muddy from when I had the horses in it when their paddocks flooded but it gave the calves a good chance to have a bit of a run around. I always love watching those first runs (I'm sure I've said that before!).
After a fun runaround they rested and enjoyed the sun —

I love seeing the calves run and play, and jump about in the paddock, it is as if they are saying Freedom!!! 😁😁😁

ReplyDeleteKids and calves are just the same. They run out of the house as fast as can be then slow down to enjoy the day!
