HI Ali, thank you. Yes we do realise this but we have a large area to plant out so will plant seedling plants (of any description) in amongst 'store bought' ones. If some of them take longer to bear fruit, we'll have fruit from other plants. I think it's the fun of growing something, whether it's productive or not!
You do realize they will have to be grafted before they can grow fruit. A seedling might take years and years to bear fruit.

ReplyDeleteHow lovely! We have to grow them as house plants here. They always seem to sprout and then grow well for about a year before giving up! xx
