Day 336 of 365

Coping with the dry
More wrapped baylage arrived today. Should keep us going for the next few months!

  1. We call them "round bales"! What is the crop? We have different varieties - here in Texas it is mostly Coastal Bermuda Grass, Haygrazer (a type of sudan grass) and Alfalfa. Always interesting to learn about similar things across the way!

When I was young there was a show from these two gentlemen. http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Van_Kooten_en_De_Bie .In one of them they let people see that underneath all that palstic there was sugar in one, koffie in the other one. What did I know then, now I know you have enough sugar for your winter to come. ;o))))
