Day 168 of 365

Garden Art
In 1871 when my husband's Great-Grandparents came to New Zealand they settled in the Whangarei Heads and built a  house on the land they broke in and farmed. One of our neighbours carved this Maori carving for us from one of the original piles, which we  located and dug up about 6 years ago (the house is long gone).
See you tomorrow,
Raewyn.
