Day 201 of 2020
Second birthday party for the younger twins.
It seems unfair to share a photo of just Lily but she was ridiculously hilarious with this bunch of balloons.
ED had put out helium filled balloons for all the kiddies...Lily went around and collected them all. Everything she did all afternoon was done one-handed, still holding on tight to the balloons!
See you tomorrow,
Raewyn.
Day 200 of 2020
We weren't sure what we would wake up to - yes, the river is well and truly flooded. Luckily most of the flats aren't under water, so not the worst flood we've ever had.
200 mls (8 inches) in 3 days.
In the city, close to the coast, they had (about) 350 mls in the same time frame; suffering severe flooding.
See you tomorrow,
Raewyn.

Day 199 of 2020
It's been raining again. Left work early in case the roads flooded. Pleased I did as there was a lot of water on the road. And the farm is getting soggier too.
You can't usually see the river from the house, but I could, although the photo I took wasn't clear enough to share.
See you tomorrow,
Raewyn.
Day 198 of 2020
Remember our bridge? It's beyond the horses somewhere!
I got home while it was still light. It had been a beautiful day but there had been some serious rain while I was away.
See you tomorrow
Raewyn.
Day 197 of 2020
Another drizzly grey day.
This photo has no significance for many, except family members. To the left what used to be Grandpa's garage, but for a long time (since Mum and Dad built garaging close to the house) was/has been Dad's workshop. To the right the 'big shed'. Dad bought this shed on site about an hour's drive away and spent many a month dismantling it to re-build here.
The tree centre stage is the 'old chestnut tree'. I think Grandpa planted it, but at least, it's been there forever.
What is most startling about the photo is the bare hill top beyond the trees. Until recently a beautiful 'hedging' of all sorts of trees, after the original trees of my childhood were replaced. Too big and tangled, limbs forever coming down, they needed to go. There will be more trees planted along there but of course it will take a few years for them to get any size on them.
See you tomorrow,
Raewyn.

Day 196 of 2020
It was raining for most of the visit but fined up enough for me to take a couple of photos of these cuties.
(The cows in the background belong to the neighbour - that land used to be part of Mum and Dad's before he 'retired' to orcharding).
See you tomorrow,
Raewyn.
Day 195 of 2020
I've been down at Mum's.
She's planning a move after living in this house for about 48 years.
My task was to empty all the high cupboards.
Kitchen cupboards done.
See you tomorrow,
Raewyn

Day 191 of 2020
My, how these guys are growing. So much imaginative play happening now and lots of chitter chatter while it's happening!
(Yes, blurred photo I know - that train was moving!!)
See you tomorrow,
Raewyn.

Day 190 of 2020
Time that these growing chicks had a move. They're getting too big for their box in the downstairs room. And look how they fill up the cat cage - they lived in here for the first few days when I brought them home.
Our new surroundings are very scary!!
Fort Knox.
My two concerns with taking them to the 'old pigsty' is security and warmth. I'm hoping to have both bases covered with this setup!
See you tomorrow,
Raewyn.
Day 188 of 2020
We decided the kiddies needed more of a view while playing so the lower branches of the Norfolk Pine have come down!
See you tomorrow,
Raewyn.
