Saturday sport and I managed to watch a hockey game (YD) and the Rippa Rugby game.

The two cousins (the blond boys) had a fun game - they scored the first two tries of the game!

While we were away, I saw a local person advertising 8 week old pullets for sale so I put my name down for four. 
So I won't be raising any baby chicks just yet this year - (over) half the work has been done for me!

Brrr - a cold snap hit us and it was just as cold at home as it had been down in the South Island!
Our first frost - we only got one last year - and definitely not in May!
