I loved this little scene, looking down on the wee Kauri tree grove (centre of photo). 

The Kauri are getting taller (they're very slow growers) and this little bunch of them will look really magnificent one day!

I kinda went rogue on my daily walk, going into the reserve next door and on the track around its perimeter. Luckily it was well marked with the orange triangles as the path was a bit obscure in places.

A good 2½ hour walk!!

I've been 'encouraged' to continue on with my daily photos - it's taken me until Day 8 to decide but luckily I had taken some photos this past week.
