The girls needed to gather greenery for the annual Agriculture Day at school - making sand saucers, arrangements and so on.
I took them out the back of the farm where they had a lot of fun finding a variety of plants to pick.

This is the time of year when it's necessary to check under the bonnet before starting up the tractor.
Birds are building nests!!
This pile of straw was pulled out after only two days of the tractor sitting idle....tractor fires are quite common!

We're getting a steady supply of small eggs now.
Just one or two a day at the moment but those new chickens are starting to earn their keep!
(The eggs will gradually get bigger and soon I won't be able to tell who is laying!)
