Day 267 of 2025

Things weren't looking the best for mum but amazingly she has been making a good recovery.
Here she is enjoying my sister's Banana Bread.

See you tomorrow,
Raewyn

  1. Dropped in to catch up! Hope your Mum is soon totally mended! I forget it is springtime in your world! So green and all the wonderful calves! We're into Autumn here, but still pretty hot and pretty dry. Though we did have a bit of rain a week ago. Freshened the drying forage for fall grazing. All the livestock seem to be doing fine with out much supplementing. Soon to have calves on the ground, and will begin lambing in January. A bit earlier than usual, but had to adjust lambing to come earlier than kidding. Had to put down our old LGD, Cedie, so a sad day, but have three new ones to take his place and to go with the sheep. Still have a kennel full of young border collies in training, but have two for sale, so hoping they go soon! My old dog Finn is retired, so am glad to have young ones coming along. Love seeing how your grands have grown! Tell all Hi for me.
    Love,
    Doniene

  2. The human body is an amazing thing the way it can recover.
