Day 19 of 365

Devastation
A very sad day (yesterday) when the bush caught fire.
Hundreds of acres burnt.
Hate to think what it looks like 'over the ridge' this morning.
Heartbreaking.
See you tomorrow

  1. Any on you? I'm thinking not as you said "over the ridge" and not "out the back"! Fires are so scary!

    Blessings and hugs!

  4. That is way too close for comfort. Your pictures are great. Still giving this some thought. Thanks for the encouragement. BTW, my son is living in Wellington. Hope to visit him someday before he finishes his doctorate. Nola

  5. Fires are so scary - Hope this didn't affect your property. At least the rain should have dampened things. Missed this post and only looked back on it after your following post.

    1. HI Susan, we will have to do a fair bit of fencing as the hedging effect the bush gave us on the track out to the runoff is gone. Otherwise it won't affect the dairty unit. The rain has been helpful :-) Sorry I cant reply to your comments as you are 'no-reply' and I don't have an email address for you. I hope you get this!! I appreciate your visits and all your comments.
