Chicken bath time.
This is how chickens bathe - they ruffle their feathers in dust or, as in this case, calf shed shavings.
You see all sorts of strange contortions as they ruffle all their feathers this way and that.

I guess it discourages some bugs? I was watching the galahs over the road yesterday, they were on the power lines and it was raining heavily, they had their wings open and were swinging around the line, often upside down, all chattering away. Was great to watch.
