Another day of walking a mob of calves home. Surplus dairy heifers this time.
Another 30 of those that I reared during the spring.
The best time to walk them the 3kms home on these hot afternoons is about 6pm at night.
They'll be leaving first thing tomorrow morning.
(PS they're supposed to be going straight across the road to the open gate!)
